Electrical Estimator (Hybrid) – Renewable Energy & Infrastructure

The Role
We’re building a top-tier estimating team and are looking for an Electrical Estimator who is accurate, strategic, and competitive. In this role, you will:
- Lead and prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate cost projections and takeoffs
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and leadership to develop winning bid strategies
- Evaluate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive and profitable bids
- Track market trends, vendor pricing, and labor conditions to maintain cost accuracy and forecasting reliability
- Participate in bid reviews, scope alignment, and value engineering opportunities
- Support handoff to operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in electrical estimating (commercial, industrial, or energy infrastructure preferred)
- Strong understanding of NEC codes, electrical systems, and contracting standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, McCormick, or similar)
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, competitive bid environment
- Excellent communication skills — able to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred, not required with experience)

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
