About Sesame Sesame believes in a future where computers are lifelike - with the ability to see, hear, and collaborate with us in ways that feel natural and human. With this vision, we're designing a new kind of computer, focused on making voice companions part of our daily lives. Our team brings together founders from Oculus and Ubiquity6, alongside proven leaders from Meta, Google, and Apple, with deep expertise spanning hardware and software. Join us in shaping a future where computers truly come alive.
About The Role Our tightly integrated electronics pack a broad range of functions into a small package. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in wearable products, or similar areas in consumer electronics, who can own and drive system design through to production. They will follow the system or complete subsystems through concept, architecture, prototyping, evaluation, and refinement stages. This requires low-level, hands-on EE skills with the breadth to cover any subsystems, including high-level direction, partner management, and Software/Firmware collaboration.
Deep knowledge and experience in designing and shipping compact, efficient battery-powered systems with RF connectivity and challenging industrial design constraints is ideal. Experience with IoT devices, custom silicon, or ML accelerators is a plus.
