Electrical Engineer (R&D)

Overview:

We’re seeking an Electrical Engineer to support early-stage R&D for energy-based medical devices. This role focuses on hands-on design, testing, and prototyping of handheld surgical devices in a collaborative lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support front-end electrical design and development
• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Contribute to PCBA design, schematic development, and prototyping
• Collaborate with mechanical and systems teams
• Participate in lab and tissue-based testing
• Support design reviews and engineering documentation

Required Experience:

• Background in Electrical Engineering / Medical Devices
• Experience with analog & digital circuit design
• Hands-on PCBA design and troubleshooting
• Experience using Cadence or Altium
• Experience in product development or R&D environments

Preferred:

• Experience with energy-based or RF medical devices
• Exposure to tissue or lab testing
• Experience supporting early-stage R&D (not manufacturing-only roles)
