Overwatch Imaging is an imagery intelligence technology company working to bring sensor autonomy to time-critical airborne search, detection, tracking and monitoring missions. Our Automated Sensor Operator (ASO) software, native to our own line of purpose-built Smart Sensors and as an upgrade for airborne video gimbal platforms, brings Superhuman Vision and Workload Reduction to users of real-time imagery intelligence systems. About this Role:
The Overwatch Imaging Electrical Engineer will lead our electrical architecture solution by designing and developing circuits and systems including schematics, PCBAs, power and communication architecture, and wiring solutions in support of customized smart airborne imaging systems. The ideal candidate will help deliver on our mission to provide airborne imaging solutions designed to scan wide areas, find small objects of interest and deliver actionable intelligence quickly and effectively for important missions around the world.
Major Areas of Responsibility***:***
The ideal candidate will be strong in many of the following areas:
- Electrical Hardware Design: Rapidly designs innovative and cost-effective electronics solutions including custom printed circuit boards, motion control elements, signal routing solutions, microprocessors, device drivers and custom code.
- Electronic Systems Build and Test: Assembles and operates prototype and pre-production imaging systems and creates testing methods and devices to ensure proper function and reliability. Works with the Production Team during new product development and production to resolve issues and improve manufacturability.

This position is based in Hood River, Oregon, and may require infrequent business travel and work in and around light aircraft. All applicants must be authorized to work on a permanent basis in the United States.
