Syntiant is a leader in edge-AI deployments, bringing deep-learning capabilities to a wide range of devices through its industry-leading Neural Decision Processors and hardware-agnostic machine learning models. Previously, running machine learning on always-on, battery-powered edge devices was infeasible, with AI largely confined to power-hungry cloud servers and GPUs. Syntiant's founders addressed this by developing custom silicon that offers superior performance while adhering to size, power, and cost constraints. Their efficient models, deployable on various processors from GPUs to MCUs, bring powerful AI capabilities to edge devices, enabling real-time data processing and decision-making with minimal latency and power consumption. This technology allows devices to be equipped with deep learning capabilities, enhancing user experience across applications like smart home devices, automotive systems, personal devices, government solutions, and industrial equipment. Syntiant has shipped tens of millions of its ultra-low-power Neural Decision Processors and deep learning algorithms globally, impacting devices from hearing aids to automobiles.
