About the client

Our client operates a portfolio of established consumer brands sold through national retail partners and direct online channels. They combine in-house product development with a strong distribution network and are now focused on strengthening and scaling their ecommerce capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of ecommerce operations, digital marketing, and revenue performance. The mandate is not to “reimagine” the business, but to build the systems, processes, and momentum needed to unlock growth across existing channels.

The Role:

This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for growing online revenue across multiple channels. The focus is execution first, with strategy informed by real performance data.

You will own both how the work gets done and how success is measured, spanning DTC (Shopify) and large retail platforms. This is a fractional contractor role, with the potential to convert to full time.

Responsibilities:

Ecommerce Execution

• Own performance across direct and third-party ecommerce channels.
• Work closely with Sales and IT to optimize presence on large retail platforms (e.g. Home Depot, Walmart, Tractor Supply) ahead of the 2026 season.
• Put the right processes, tools, and roles in place to support scalable ecommerce operations.
• Track and report against clear performance objectives.

Strategy & Growth

• Define a practical ecommerce growth strategy across DTC and B2B use cases.
• Build ROI-backed plans to support technology, marketing, and operational investments.
• Design and run test cases to validate new initiatives before scaling.
• Improve long-term growth readiness by aligning people, process, and technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ecommerce experience, with hands-on ownership of revenue outcomes.
• Strong working knowledge of Shopify.
• Experience operating within large retailer or marketplace platforms.
• 5+ years of digital marketing experience focused on traffic, conversion, and revenue.
• Strong operational mindset with an understanding of how systems, teams, and tools interact.
• Comfortable building business cases and articulating ROI.
• Clear communicator across technical, sales, and creative teams.

Preference for candidates in the Dallas area.
