We are now seeking an experienced engineer interested in participating in early-stage technical development and system prototyping. This position is intended for engineers who enjoy building practical systems from the ground up, including embedded devices, hardware prototyping, and system integration. The role begins as a flexible engineering collaboration, working closely with the founder on early-stage technical development and prototype validation. As the collaboration develops, there may be opportunities to grow into a long-term engineering leadership role within the organization.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of early-stage engineering systems involving embedded devices and hardware prototypes
- Contribute to firmware development and device communication workflows for embedded systems
- Support the design and assembly of small hardware prototypes used for technical validation
- Work on system-level integration involving hardware, firmware, and lightweight software tools
- Assist in developing and testing demonstrator systems for prototype validation
- Support debugging and troubleshooting during prototype development cycles
- Contribute engineering ideas to improve system reliability and practical field deployment
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree with more than 10 years in a relevant discipline such as:
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Embedded Systems
- Robotics
- Computer Science
- or other related technical fields

Practical experience in embedded systems, hardware development, firmware engineering, or related technical areas

Familiarity with microcontroller platforms (such as ESP32 or similar embedded systems)

Experience working with hardware–software integration

Ability to work independently in a remote engineering collaboration environment
Preferred Background
- Embedded firmware development (C/C++)
- Hardware prototyping or PCB design
- Wireless communication technologies such as BLE
- IoT device development
- Interest in engineering applications related to civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental monitoring, or geological systems
