Job Title: Dynamics 365 CE Advanced Support Consultant (Contract | Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 CE expert to handle complex, escalation-level issues in live client environments. This is not a typical support role. This is a hands-on, problem-solving position focused on real-world troubleshooting and resolution of production issues.

Role Overview

You will work on critical production issues, system bugs, and complex configurations within Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and related Power Platform components.

Key Responsibilities

Handle Tier 3 and escalation-level Dynamics 365 CE issues
Investigate and resolve production issues in live environments
Analyze system behavior across plugins, workflows, Power Automate, JavaScript, and security roles
Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes
Recommend scalable and long-term solutions

Core Work

You will be assigned a case and expected to:

Coordinate with the manager to understand the scope
Access the client’s Dynamics 365 environment
Investigate issues using logs, data, plugins, and flows
Identify root causes
Either fix the issue directly or provide a clear, actionable solution

Required Technical Expertise:

Strong hands-on experience in:

Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service)
Plugin development using C# and .NET (IPlugin)
JavaScript for form scripting and ribbon customization
Power Platform (Power Automate, model-driven apps, Dataverse)
Debugging tools including Plugin Trace Logs, XrmToolBox, and FetchXML

Nice to Have:

Azure integrations such as Service Bus or Functions
API integrations and webhooks
CI/CD and solution lifecycle management

Engagement Model:

Contract or hourly (time and material)
Work is on-demand, not full-time
Assignments are based on active support cases

Payment Structure:

Payment is based on hours worked

What We’re Looking For:

Strong experience working in real-world Dynamics 365 CE environments
Ability to independently debug and resolve complex issues
Experience working in live production systems
Clear communication with both technical and functional stakeholders
Reliability and responsiveness when assigned work
