With government customers and strong funding - we will give you all you need for excellence.  Your Job: We are looking for a talented Drone Software Engineer

to lead the automation of various drones carrying specific sensor payloads. You will run indoor and outdoor field tests to collect data and improve our prototypes in real-world environments. This role combines high-level software development with hands-on drone operations

, including troubleshooting, hardware repairs, and system programming.

You will be part of a small, early and focused team working closely with the company founders.

• Meaningful interaction with customers and users

Prior experience with defense-related drone systems is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Flight automation - programming various drones
• Flights and field test with our drone based GPSAR module
• System design, development and repairs
• Demos and trainings with potential customers
• Hardware maintenance and repairs with 3D printed parts
• Data collection for AI model training

Required Qualifications

• Expertise programming MAVLink and PX4

• Strong C++ and Python

  skills

• Track record automating, testing, operating and repairing various drones

• Experience working with Cubepilot flight controller

• Driving license (valid in Germany)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3D CAD design and printing experience
• Flight hours with a variety of drones
• Strong communication skills
• Relevant drone pilot licenses (over 10kg)
