Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Trivandrum for a DOT NET Lead. The DOT NET Lead will guide a team of developers, design and implement .NET-based software solutions, and oversee the development lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment. Responsibilities include leading code and design reviews, optimizing performance, debugging and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Technical Leadership & Ownership

• Lead a team of .NET developers (freshers to senior engineers)
• Define coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices
• Own technical decisions and long-term maintainability
• Perform code reviews , mentor engineers, and improve team skill levels
• Ensure on-time delivery with quality

2️⃣ Backend Engineering (.NET Ecosystem)

• Design and develop applications using:
• ASP.NET Core / .NET 6 / .NET 7 / .NET 8
• Web API / MVC / Razor Pages
• Strong understanding of:
• Dependency Injection
• Middleware
• Authentication & Authorization
• Background jobs & schedulers
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code

3️⃣ Database & Data Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• SQL Server
• PostgreSQL
• Expertise in:
• Database schema design
• Indexing & query optimization
• Stored procedures, functions, views
• Transactions, locks, concurrency handling
• Ability to debug real production performance issues

4️⃣ Frontend Collaboration (Not UI Designer)

• Working knowledge of:
• HTML5
• CSS
• JavaScript
• jQuery
• Ability to:
• Debug frontend issues
• Integrate APIs with UI
• Guide frontend developers effectively

5️⃣ Cloud & DevOps Awareness

Hands-on or strong working knowledge of at least one cloud provider:

• AWS / Azure / GCP

Experience with:

• App hosting & deployment
• Object storage (S3 / Blob / GCS)
• Environment configurations
• CI/CD pipelines
• Logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Basic infrastructure cost awareness

• Design scalable, multi-tenant, secure systems
• Experience with:
• Monolith → Modular → Microservices thinking
• RESTful API design
• Caching (Redis / Memory cache)

• Ability to explain architecture clearly to team & stakeholders

Qualifications

• Expertise in .NET framework, ASP.NET, and .NET Core development
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as C#, Visual Studio,SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Experience in software design patterns, architecture, and object-oriented programming
• Strong skills in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with development teams and stakeholders
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development processes
