Job Description
- Business Development & Market Expansion
- Drive growth across defense, aerospace, UAV/drone, radar, SATCOM, and wireless infrastructure markets
- Lead design-in and design-win efforts with OEMs, system integrators, and key customers
- Identify new applications and expansion opportunities in phased-array systems, 5G/6G infrastructure, and advanced communications
- Customer & Distributor Engagement
- Leverage and expand relationships with key EMEA distributors and strategic accounts
- Drive demand creation activities in collaboration with channel partners
- Lead customer engagements including technical positioning, roadmap alignment, and commercial negotiations
- Opportunity Funnel & CRM Management
- Own and manage the opportunity funnel, ensuring strong pipeline hygiene and visibility
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, opportunity qualification, and clean-up
- Ensure CRM reflects accurate design activity, forecast, and revenue conversion timelines
- Forecasting & Revenue Accountability
- Develop and maintain robust forecasts aligned with market demand and funnel maturity
- Provide clear visibility into revenue pipeline across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons
- Drive accountability toward regional revenue and growth targets
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product management, engineering, and operations to align on customer needs
- Provide market insights to influence product roadmap and competitive positioning
- Support pricing strategy, margin optimization, and key account planning
Technical & Product Expertise (Axiro Portfolio Alignment)
The ideal candidate should have strong experience and familiarity with RF and mmWave semiconductor products, including:
- RF Power Amplifiers (PA) – including GaN-based solutions
- Beamformer ICs for phased-array and radar systems
- Up/Down Converters and Mixers
- Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs)
- RF Switches and Signal Chain Components
- GaN technologies (GaN-on-SiC / GaN-on-Si)
- Wi-Fi Front-End Modules (FEMs)
- Integrated RF Front-End Modules and Subsystems
Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in semiconductor business development, sales, or related roles
- Strong expertise in RF, microwave, and mmWave technologies
- Proven track record in defense, aerospace, UAV/drone, or wireless infrastructure sectors
- Established network across EMEA OEMs, system integrators, and distributors
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools, opportunity funnel management, and forecasting
- Deep understanding of design cycle, demand creation, and design-win lifecycle
- Experience working in a distribution-driven business model
