Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Business Development in the Data Annotation Services industry. Based in Pune / Hybrid / Remote, the role involves identifying and pursuing opportunities for new business development, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Key responsibilities include creating business plans, generating leads, negotiating contracts with clients, managing key accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to align business strategies. The candidate will also represent the company in industry events and establish strong client relationships to grow and sustain long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation, demonstrating the ability to identify and seize growth opportunities.
• Strong skills in Business Planning and strategic decision-making to achieve company targets and expand market presence.
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Account Management, ensuring mutually beneficial client relationships and consistent performance tracking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and nurture client partnerships and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant experience in the data annotation or related technology services industry is preferred.

• Immediate access to decision makers in AI, ML & enterprise accounts.
• Opening doors through existing, active relationship.
• Direct interaction with customers.
• Supporting the CEO with introductions & strategic client engagements.
• Acting as a key external face of Qualitas Global.

What Success Will Look Like -

• You bring paying annotation projects, not just conversations.
• You own the client relationship end to end.
• You operate independently with minimal oversight.
• You help position the CEO in front of the right decision-makers when required.

💰  Compensation Structure:

Base + Success Fee

Base Compensation would be competitive but lean, to ensure alignment. The real upside would be entirely tied to the revenue you personally bring in.

Success Fee / Commission, which is a mutually decided percentage on all closed revenue brought directly by you.

Applicable to:

• Pilots
• Production contracts
• Expansion revenue from accounts you open
• Paid on collections
• Includes accelerators

Plus Higher percentages for:

• Quarterly overachievement
• Multi-year deals
• Large volume or strategic accounts
