Job Overview
Kardigan is seeking a dynamic and strategic
Director of Medical Affairs Strategy & Operations
to lead the development, execution, and optimization of global medical affairs processes and strategic initiatives. This role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of impactful medical strategies across therapeutic areas.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and execution of Medical Affairs initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvement, change management, and performance tracking.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Compliance) to ensure seamless integration of medical strategies.
Qualifications And Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field. Masters of Science or MBA preferred. PMP certification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with significant exposure to Medical Affairs. Additional experience in Clinical Operations preferred.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, operational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with process excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and global medical affairs operations.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
