We are seeking a commercially driven and scientifically minded leader to join our team as Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships.

In this role, you will combine business acumen with deep client engagement, leading strategic collaborations and identifying new opportunities for growth within key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business growth  by developing and executing account strategies that strengthen existing client partnerships and expand IAG’s reach across therapeutic areas and geographies.
• Serve as a strategic advisor  to biopharma and biotech partners — understanding their scientific, clinical, and regulatory priorities and aligning IAG’s imaging, biomarker, and AI-driven solutions to their development needs.
• Lead key account management , including proactive relationship nurturing, contract renewals, opportunity expansion, and executive-level engagement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally  with IAG’s scientific, operations, and marketing teams to ensure client programs deliver measurable value and scientific excellence.
• Provide market intelligence and commercial insight  to leadership, influencing IAG’s service strategy, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives.

Ideal Profile

• Strong background in  Business Development, Alliance Management, or Strategic Partnerships  within the  CRO, biotech, or pharma sectors .
• Network of relevant contacts
• Proven success managing client relationships and managing success of commercial agreements.
• Ability to translate scientific and technical information into meaningful value propositions for clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with executive presence and strong emotional intelligence.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by building long-term value.
• Advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering, radiology or related discipline; MBA or scientific postgraduate qualification is a plus.
