Our Tech client is seeking a Digital Channel Marketing Manager to join their team for the next 9 months, 40 hours/week. This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in New York, NY.
Role Summary
The Digital Channel Marketing Manager will lead the development, execution, and optimization of in-app and owned digital marketing programs focused on WhatsApp Business products for small and medium-sized businesses. This role ensures continuity of high-impact lifecycle and product adoption campaigns by partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver audience-first, data-driven communication strategies that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Strong lifecycle marketing expertise, with hands-on experience building audience-first communication strategies across digital and in-product channels
Proven ability to lead end-to-end digital marketing campaigns, balancing creative strategy, technical execution, and performance optimization
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, data science, creative, and technical program management
Additional Qualifications Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Working knowledge of mobile app development and in-product communication frameworks
Hands-on experience with A/B testing, experimentation design, and data-driven optimization
Background in content strategy and creative production
Experience managing vendors and agency partners
Ability to navigate localization and global creative challenges with scalable, innovative solutions
Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of digital marketing experience
Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of WhatsApp Business in-app communication strategies across owned digital channels to drive customer acquisition, retention, and product engagement
Design and maintain a lifecycle-driven creative and communication calendar that aligns user needs with product adoption objectives
Partner with cross-functional teams including product, content, creative, data science, and engineering to deliver measurable, high-quality campaign experiences
Drive product adoption through clear calls-to-action and deep linking that guide users to key in-app features and workflows
Lead execution by coordinating with technical program managers, engineers, and creative partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of campaigns
Oversee creative production, approvals, and vendor collaboration to support campaign needs
Analyze web analytics, channel engagement, and product usage data to evaluate campaign performance and inform optimization strategies
Apply testing, measurement, and reporting frameworks to continuously improve effectiveness and impact of digital communications
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
