Role Description Lumana is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to help design, deploy, and operate the core infrastructure of our cloud platform. This is a high-impact role supporting our fast-moving R&D team as we scale globally. You’ll take ownership of the tools, systems, and services that power our production and development environments.

Location & Travel

• Hybrid Schedule: Based in Tel Aviv, with 2 days a week working from home. Includes occasional travel (1 day every 2 weeks) to our Caesarea office.

Compensation 30,000 - 35,000 NIS month

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable DevOps solutions across our cloud infrastructure
• Partner closely with R&D to support development velocity, reliability, and efficient deployment pipelines
• Own and optimize CI/CD processes and implement DevSecOps practices across the SDLC
• Lead proof-of-concept projects and technical evaluations from ideation to rollout
• Manage centralized observability solutions and ensure system-wide visibility
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration for Kubernetes and VM-based workloads
• Develop tools and integrations that support internal developer productivity
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure uptime of mission-critical systems, including nights/weekends as needed

Qualifications Must Have:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
• Deep expertise with a top cloud provider and cloud solution architecture, preferred GCP
• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with observability and logging tools (e.g., GCP Observability, DataDog, Thanos, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise using Terraform
• Familiarity with managing distributed systems such as databases, Kafka and MQTT, etc
• Strong scripting or service development skills in Node.js, Python, or Go
• Proactive mindset and high accountability in production environments

Nice To Have

• Prior experience in high-scale or security-focused environments
• Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
• Experience supporting edge devices or IoT infrastructure
