Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, ML Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering, with several years in senior or leadership roles
• 6+ years of deep, expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including AI/ML and containerization services
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with ML orchestration and platform tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow, or Amazon SageMaker
• 6+ years of expertise with Docker and Kubernetes for managing and scaling AI/ML workloads
• 6-8+ years of strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and scripting
• Proficiency with infrastructure management tools such as Terraform or Ansible (preferred)
• Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins (preferred)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for effective cross-functional teamwork
• A valid LinkedIn profile and demonstrated work portfolio
• Ability to interview in person at our headquarters in Waltham, MA, USA

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure for AI/ML workloads
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI models, managing data ingestion, model training, deployment, and monitoring processes
• Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices in AI/ML platform development, code management, and deployment
• Collaborate with AI researchers and software engineers to optimize system performance and streamline development workflows
• Ensure the reliability, security, and high availability of AI systems and infrastructure
• Stay current with industry trends and introduce innovative AI solutions to enhance platform capabilities
• Support automation efforts and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Participate in cross-functional teams to improve overall system architecture and operational efficiency
