Holloid provides continuous, image-based monitoring that tells manufacturers what small particles and cells are doing inside production and bioreactors. The company combines digital holographic microscopy hardware with AI and machine learning software delivered as Industrial IoT devices plus a SaaS analytics platform to capture and classify particle morphology, motion, and interactions in real time. Their solution uses proprietary algorithms, high-performance web components, and Python-based pipelines to analyze holographic images and generate actionable process metrics. Holloid targets producers in food, pharmaceutical, and energy industries and supports automated process control and quality monitoring without specialized microscopy staff. The technology is based on a decade of research and protected by patents and other intellectual property.

About us
Holloid is a high-tech university spin-off revolutionizing bioprocess monitoring through in-line holographic microscopy. We empower some of the world’s largest food, pharma, and water companies to "see the invisible" - enabling better decisions, cleaner processes, and next-level automation.
Backed by the EIC Accelerator and growing fast, we're turning cutting-edge science into real-world tools for sustainable food production, industrial fermentation, and environmental safety.
As our DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in streamlining Holloid’s software and infrastructure development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will be to:
Accelerate software delivery
, automate workflows, improve collaboration, and ensure smooth, reliable code integration, testing, and deployment.
Manage and optimize infrastructure
, including deployment pipelines and cloud environments. You’ll apply security best practices and make infrastructure easier to maintain and scale.
Contribute to the design and implementation of resilient systems
that scale efficiently. You’ll reduce manual processes, improve system uptime, and support a culture of reliability.
Expand existing observability services
to monitor system performance. You'll define effective monitoring and alerting strategies that help us proactively address issues.
Requirements
You bring at least 3 years of hands-on DevOps experience and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset, ideally with the following:
Cloud Platforms
: GCP (preferred), AWS, Azure. Experience with EU-based providers is a plus.
Infrastructure as Code / Configuration Management
: Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
Containers & Orchestration
: Kubernetes, Docker, or equivalent technologies.
CI/CD Pipelines
: Hands-on with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Monitoring & Alerting
: Familiarity with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Novu, or equivalent.
System Administration
: Proficient in Linux and shell scripting (Bash).
Language
: Professional fluency in English (spoken and written).
