About the Role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who can deploy Python applications in both cloud and on-premises confidential computing environments. You’ll focus heavily on Python Ray projects, building deployment infrastructure for customers operating in highly regulated and air-gapped settings.

This role requires independent problem-solving skills. Many of the challenges you’ll face don’t have straightforward answers – you’ll need to research unfamiliar technologies and figure out how to make them work in production.

Required Experience

We require at least 3 years of overall DevOps experience with all of the following skills:

• Cloud Platforms: 2+ years with GCP, Microsoft Azure, or AWS
• Containerization: 2+ years with Docker in production environments
• Linux & Scripting: 2+ years of Linux system administration and shell scripting
• Python Deployment: 2+ years deploying Python applications to production
• Networking: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and firewall configurations
• Version Control: 2+ years working with Git

Preferred Skills

Any of the following skills are welcome but not mandatory:

• Experience with Confidential Computing technologies (Intel TDX, AMD SEV-SNP, AWS Nitro Enclaves)
• Familiarity with Nix package manager and reproducible builds
• Experience with mkosi for building OS images
• Kubernetes administration experience
• Ray framework for distributed Python applications
• Python development experience (not just deployment)
• GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms

What You'll Do

• Design and implement deployment pipelines for Python Ray projects across cloud (GCP/Azure/AWS) and on-premises confidential computing environments
• Build and maintain infrastructure for local air-gapped and regulated deployments serving critical operations clients
• Develop containerized solutions optimized for local deployment scenarios
• Research and deploy confidential computing technologies
