About the Role
Job Title: DevOps Engineer III - Edge Location: Timișoara Employment Type: Full Time Permanent Department: R&D – Engineering - DevOps
As a DevOps Engineer, you will join the Everseen Engineering team to design, code, test, and run the CI/CD process and infrastructure software for the Everseen Edge platform. Your responsibilities will include:
Owning and delivering specific DevOps components for building, packaging, distributing, deploying, and monitoring our scalable and reliable containerized Edge application for customer on-premises hosting.
Designing and executing large-scale and mass service infrastructure deployments.
Maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, prioritizing extensibility and reusability, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Focusing on automation of workflows and introducing enhancements to infrastructure scalability.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues and sharing skills, knowledge, and expertise across the DevOps team.
Adhering to established standards and introducing best-practice DevOps guidelines and conventions across teams.
Writing and maintaining DevOps-related documentation (articles, diagrams, data flows, etc.) for new and existing applications and services.
Testing infrastructure and ensuring that data is collected, analyzed, and used in decision-making processes.
Collaborating with wider project and engineering teams on technical architecture, system design, integration requirements, and overall customer, product, and organizational needs.
Implementing and maintaining security best practices in alignment with the Everseen Security department, managing container vulnerability scanning and reporting.

The wider DevOps engineering team, your manager, Edge platform software developers, and QA engineers.
The Program Management team for release scheduling.
The Everseen Security team to ensure the security of Everseen solutions.
Specialized field teams for remote and, in some cases, on-site support with Edge platform deployments.
Our Tech Stack
You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including:
3-4 years of experience in DevOps-related roles and 2-3 years in Linux system administration, with practical experience in Automation Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Strong communication skills, organized, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Strong system administration skills for deploying Everseen’s containerized Edge application in customer networks.
Essential networking skills, including experience with DNS, routes, firewalls, and bonding.
Extensive experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD preferred) and excellent knowledge of Git and associated workflows (e.g., Gitflow).
Experience with complex build systems and efficient container building.
Practical experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools and stacks.
Excellent scripting skills in Bash and Python, with experience in the Node.js ecosystem.
Familiarity with tools like RenovateBot.
Previous experience working with edge devices and automated provisioning at scale.
Additional Skills
Experience with Go programming language is a plus.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform is beneficial.
Experience working with NVIDIA and managing NVIDIA infrastructure for AI/ML workloads is useful for this role.
