Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated
Developmental / Stem Cell biologist
with expertise in iPSC-derived and MSC derived cell models, with hands on experience of working with key signaling pathways to differentiate stem cells into germ cell lines and subsequent tissue specific organoids and cell types. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and validating disease-relevant cellular models, advancing our work in cell therapy and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate, culture, and characterize human iPSC-derived cell lines relevant to neuromuscular and other developmental systems.
- Perform cell phenotyping using flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry (ICC), and related imaging-based assays.
- Design and execute experiments to assess differentiation efficiency, functional maturity, and molecular signatures.
- Collaborate closely with molecular biology and omics teams to integrate cellular data into multi-omics pipelines.
- Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Present findings in internal reviews and scientific meetings.
Qualifications
- PhD
in Developmental Biology, Cell Biology, Regenerative Medicine, Neuroscience, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in human and mouse stem cell culture, differentiation, and characterization.
- Hands-on expertise with flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry (ICC), and cell phenotyping assays.
- Strong understanding of developmental and cellular pathways, including cell fate and lineage specification.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with omics integration, high-content imaging, or CRISPR-based approaches is a plus.
