Development Team Leader – ReFeed
The Development Team Leader at ReFeed will oversee the development and mass production of used cooking oil (UCO) collection machines and smart recovery systems. This role requires close collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and control engineers to drive the entire process from planning → design → prototyping → production → quality control (QC). The leader will also manage supplier coordination, outsourcing, cost control, and ensure smooth cooperation with factories and logistics partners.
• Lead development, mass production, and quality control (QC) of UCO collection and smart recovery machines
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and control engineers on cross-functional projects
• Manage schedules across all phases: planning, design, prototyping, and mass production
• Oversee procurement, outsourcing, supplier contracts, and cost management
• Coordinate with factories, subcontractors, and logistics providers to ensure efficient operations
• Review and resolve key technical challenges in electrical and mechanical systems
• Proven capability in electrical or mechanical design
• Experience in mechanical equipment development, mass production, and quality control (QC)
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with engineers in mechanics, electronics, and control systems
• Strong project scheduling and management skills across design and production phases
• Competence in procurement, outsourcing, and financial cost handling
• Proven experience in collaborating with factories, subcontractors, and logistics companies
• Solid background in electrical or mechanical engineering development and technical problem-solving
• Experience in environmental, energy, or circular economy-related machinery or systems
• Hands-on expertise with IoT and sensor-based smart device control (BLE, RS485, ESP32, PLC, etc.)
• Experience working with international partners (Vietnam, Japan, etc.); foreign language proficiency is a plus
• Proven record in team leadership and project management in a startup environment
Familiarity with ERP, MRP, or other production and cost management systems.
