Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Manager based in Madrid. The Design Manager will oversee and lead the design process for various engineering and construction projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and client expectations. Daily responsibilities include managing design teams, coordinating multidisciplinary projects, reviewing plans and technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, the Design Manager will collaborate with other stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions within project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

Expertise in design management, including technical drawing review and design coordination across multidisciplinary teams
Strong leadership and project management skills to effectively manage design teams and oversee project timelines
Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools
Knowledge of sustainable design principles, construction standards, and compliance with industry regulations
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
Prior experience in engineering or construction project management is highly desirable
