Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru South for a Design For Test (DFT) Lead. The DFT Lead will manage and implement design-for-test methodologies, lead architecture optimization for testability, and oversee the generation of test patterns for complex ICs. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to provide inputs at various design stages, identifying potential test challenges, and ensuring high coverage and quality standards for test solutions. Regular tasks include debugging test issues, analyzing test coverage, and driving continuous process improvements for efficient test development and execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in DFT methodologies including scan, BIST (Built-In Self-Test), ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation), and test compression techniques.
- Strong knowledge and experience with SOC architecture, RTL design, and verification processes.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Synopsys, Mentor, or Cadence DFT tool suites for architecture, implementation, and debugging.
- Ability to analyze and improve test coverage results and resolve test-related issues effectively.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL to automate workflows and validate test environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
