About the Role
Job Title: Design Engineer
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our design team in Amsterdam. You will own and shape the user experience for our core products, driving innovation and ensuring quality in every interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with various teams to advance user experience and design initiatives.
- Deliver pixel-perfect, high-quality user interfaces with a focus on performance and detail.
- Contribute to the implementation of scalable design systems that enhance consistency and efficiency.
- Improve website, dashboard, documentation, and other tools that support our core products.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration between disciplines.
- Advocate for user-centric designs that meet business needs and delight customers.
About You:
- 4+ years of experience in design engineering or a related role, ideally in product-driven environments.
- Proven ability to deliver high-performance, responsive user interfaces.
- Deep understanding of web standards and core fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, mindful of deadlines, and possess a high sense of responsibility.
- Team player who enjoys solving complex problems and can translate design to product.
