As a Design Engineer Intern at MarvelX, you’ll help design and build the interfaces that make AI usable and trustworthy in production. You’ll translate complex agent workflows into clear, reliable user experiences. You’ll prototype, ship, and iterate quickly, working closely with product, design, and engineering.

Your work will help define how businesses interact with AI in high-stakes environments where clarity, trust, and usability matter.

What you'll be doing

• Support the design and implementation of product features end-to-end
• Prototype new ideas and turn them into working UI with React/TypeScript
• Help refine and expand MarvelX’s design system and UI standards
• Create visuals and interaction patterns that simplify complex AI workflows
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and GTM to test ideas with real customers
• Iterate on existing features to continuously improve user experience

What you'll need

• Experience or coursework in product design, HCI, or front-end development
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and React (or eager to learn fast)
• Strong eye for UI, visual design, and interaction patterns
• Ability to express ideas through sketches, prototypes, and code
• Passion for AI, tools, and building things that actually ship
• Proactive, curious, and excited to learn by doing
