Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Gainesville, FL, allowing for a combination of on-site work and remote flexibility. The Deputy General Counsel will provide expert legal advice and support in various areas, including corporate governance, labor and employment law, and data privacy. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, ensuring legal compliance, advising on labor-related issues, and addressing corporate regulatory and governance matters.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Legal Issues and providing accurate Legal Advice
Knowledge and experience in Labor and Employment Law
Familiarity with Data Privacy policies and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in Corporate Governance and maintaining organizational compliance
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active bar membership
Leadership skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities
