Role Overview

Babylon is seeking a DeFi Product Lead to spearhead the evolution of native Bitcoin utility. With our groundbreaking trustless Bitcoin vault technology, we are unlocking trillion-dollar opportunities in lending, stablecoins, and derivatives. You will bridge the gap between complex cryptography and user-centric DeFi applications, driving the product strategy that integrates Bitcoin into the broader decentralized finance ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Design: Lead the end-to-end design of DeFi products utilizing Babylon’s vault technology, specifically focusing on lending protocols and synthetic assets.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work at the intersection of Research, Engineering, and Business Development to translate technical breakthroughs into market-ready features.
• Ecosystem Growth: Partner with external dApp developers and blockchain protocols to integrate Babylon’s tech stack and validate product-market fit.
• Roadmap Management: Define and execute a high-impact roadmap that addresses the needs of Bitcoin holders, validators, and DeFi users.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of dedicated experience in DeFi product management or protocol design.
• Deep technical understanding of smart contracts, blockchain architecture, and Bitcoin’s economic model.
• Proven track record of shipping "zero-to-one" products in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience designing lending markets or algorithmic stablecoin mechanisms.
• Previous experience in a high-growth Web3 startup or research-heavy protocol environment.
• Active involvement in the Bitcoin or DeFi governance communities.
