About the Role
Job Title: Deep Learning Researcher

We are seeking a talented Deep Learning Researcher to join our research team to help us develop the world's best methods for making Deep Learning efficient.
Responsibilities
- Improve algorithms in Embedl’s software products to enhance performance.
- Develop and experiment with modern deep learning architectures.
- Conduct original research to push the frontier of what is achievable in areas relating to efficient AI.
Who You Are
We are looking for an outstanding individual with excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated achievements in academic or industrial research in Deep Learning. You are ambitious, self-driven, and thrive when given high-level responsibilities and problems to solve. You should be a team player, willing to both learn from others and teach others, and generally contribute to a positive working environment.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent skills achieved via experience.
- Excellent coding skills in Python.
- Experience developing deep learning models using PyTorch, Jax, Keras, and/or TensorFlow.
- Experience with libraries for scientific computing, such as Numpy, Scipy, and Matplotlib.
- 3+ years of experience in industry or academia pushing the current state-of-the-art of Deep Learning.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Deep Learning compression, automated hyper-parameter optimization, and/or Network Architecture Search.
- Experience with Deep Learning for inference on embedded hardware.
