About the Role

Job Title: Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using Looker.
• Report on trends, patterns, and insights daily to the entire team, ensuring everyone understands the current state of affairs.
• Provide training and support to the team to ensure effective use of Looker.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to connect and maintain data pipelines (no technical implementation responsibility).
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data validation and quality checks.

Requirements:

1. Strong academic background.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
3. Expertise in Looker and strong proficiency in SQL.
4. Advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
5. Proven experience in scaling BI functions in a venture-backed startup environment.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
