Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist Intern to join our dynamic team focused on analytics. Design, develop, and maintain systems to process large datasets.

Apply statistical techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, probability distributions, and regression analysis) to validate assumptions and measure business impact.
Build and optimize data pipelines to clean, transform, and prepare data for modelling and reporting.
Create clear and compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Develop and maintain data models, interfaces, and integrations to support evolving business needs.
Contribute to strategic planning of AI initiatives.
Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1+ years of experience in a data analytics, data science or machine learning role.
Solid understanding of core statistical concepts, including experimental design, significance testing, and Bayesian vs. Frequentist approaches.
Proficient in machine learning tools (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, XGBoost).
Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Experience designing, testing, and deploying machine learning models.
Skilled in accessing and managing data via SQL, cloud-based data pipelines, or Big Data platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
Understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
Awareness of MLOps practices and cloud-based compute/orchestration platforms.
Industry experience in finance, manufacturing, or similar domains is a plus, but not required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in both individual and collaborative settings
