Our co-founders are Antonio Alegria and Duarte Garrido . Antonio is a serial innovator with over 15 years in AI and Data, having been instrumental in building and scaling $100M+ AI-powered platforms at Feedzai and OutSystems. Duarte is a seasoned GTM Leader and Board Advisor with over 11 years of experience from Fortune 100 companies and startups, having led elite marketing teams at Coca-Cola and Standard Chartered.

At the heart of this mission is a commitment to building a world-class data infrastructure that will establish DOJO as a market leader in AI-powered applications. We are developing breakthrough technology, including an autonomous data fabric connecting millions of marketing signals, a novel graph representation of brands and competition, and multi-agent systems powered by proprietary models and algorithms.

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will take ownership of the DOJO data fabric and integration layer, which is core to our product and vision. This is a unique opportunity to define and build the foundational architecture of a global-scale, cutting-edge data infrastructure, and play a critical role in setting the technical foundation for the company. You will design and implement systems that seamlessly process and synthesize millions of marketing signals into actionable intelligence, enabling next-generation AI capabilities. Your work will directly shape our trajectory as a market leader and define the industry benchmark for AI-driven marketing technology.

In this role you will:

Design and build a scalable, autonomous data fabric and semantic layer that bridges unstructured and structured data, enabling an AI-rich user experience.
Develop secure, high-performance pipelines to process and integrate data from diverse sources, embedding best-in-class security, efficiency, and compliance to maintain trust and reliability at scale.
Collaborate directly with our Co-Founders and other founding engineers to develop a technical roadmap aligned with DOJO’s long-term vision and growth..
Shape and define our engineering culture while scaling the data team as the company grows.

You might thrive in this role if you:

Have 5+ years of professional experience as a data engineer, with a significant role in building scalable, high-performance data infrastructure for global cloud products.
Have expertise in automated data integration, consolidation, and ETL/ELT pipelines, with a focus on quality, efficiency and security.
Are experienced with modern cloud platforms like AWS and have a deep understanding of data architectures for AI, analytics, and application-level use cases.
Have an interest in AI/ML and are eager to collaborate on developing data systems that enable state-of-the-art AI-driven solutions.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-growing, product-driven companies by effectively navigating loosely defined tasks and managing competing priorities or deadlines.
