Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Engineer, based in Chicago, IL. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data architectures, data pipelines, and analytics platforms. Daily tasks include data modeling, building Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, maintaining data warehouses, and performing data analysis to support decision-making. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data operations and infrastructure optimization.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Data Engineering and Data Modeling
Experience with building and optimizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
Knowledge of Data Warehousing principles and techniques
Strong skills in Data Analytics and handling complex datasets
Proficiency in programming languages like SQL, Python, or Scala
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
Experience working with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
