Job Description for Cybersecurity Analyst
JOB SUMMARY
The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for ensuring the security and protection of the NY Creates (NYC) computer systems, networks, and data. This involves monitoring, investigating, and mitigating potential security threats, implementing and maintaining security controls, responding to security events, and working closely with Information Technology (IT) to ensure system resources are patched and up to date. With their extensive technical background and comprehensive knowledge of IT systems and networks, the Cybersecurity Analyst will recognize and investigate the ever-evolving threat landscape utilizing data from a variety of cyber defense tools. The incumbent is expected to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, and the ability to work comfortably under pressure.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
