BackOps AI is an AI logistics companion that automates operational tasks for supply chain and logistics companies. It acts as an AI-powered ops team, handling tasks, resolving customer issues, and suggesting process improvements. The platform connects to over 100 WMS platforms, communication channels, and portals to ingest data. Users configure the system by feeding it their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in various formats (PDFs, text, MP3s). BackOps AI then automates routine tasks, escalates complex issues to humans, and resolves end-to-end issues by following SOPs. It can handle order entry, claims handling, order status inquiries, reshipment requests, quote requests, and invoice requests. The company emphasizes its "human in the loop" approach, allowing for team oversight and approvals. BackOps AI is built by a team with experience from major tech companies like Amazon, Apple, and Meta, focusing on solving complex logistics problems and edge cases. Their business model is primarily SaaS, offering automation that integrates with existing tech stacks.

Company Description
BackOps is at the forefront of supply chain intelligence, leveraging advanced AI to optimize logistics processes. Our solutions empower logistics teams to maximize efficiency and focus on mission-critical initiatives. We are dedicated to transforming the supply chain industry through innovative technology and data-driven insights.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Customer Success Engineer to act as the architect of customer success immediately after the sale. You will be the primary bridge between our customers and our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team, ensuring that complex workflows are translated into powerful, automated realities.
This role requires more than just relationship management; it requires a detective’s eye for detail and a technical consultant’s ability to research solutions. You will be responsible for "derisking" projects by spotting the gaps in customer workflows that they forgot to mention, prioritizing resources to ensure timely delivery, and presenting solutions that create winning outcomes for both the customer and BackOps.
