Role Overview
The Course Director – Agentic AI (Part-Time) will lead the academic, research, and strategic direction of Heisenberg Institute’s Agentic AI program. This role is designed for a senior practitioner or researcher who operates at the frontier of autonomous AI systems and wishes to contribute meaningfully without a full-time commitment.
Beyond curriculum leadership, the Course Director will play a key role in building research initiatives and supporting institutional growth by collaborating with the Growth & Collaborations Director to develop high-quality partnerships across academia, industry, and innovation ecosystems.
This is a high-trust, high-impact role, focused on intellectual leadership rather than operational teaching volume.

- Schedule structured around academic cycles, research milestones, and strategic needs.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in AI, Computer Science, Robotics, Cognitive Science, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agentic AI, autonomous systems, or multi-agent architectures.
- Strong understanding of modern AI stacks (LLMs, agent frameworks, orchestration layers, evaluation methods).
- Experience in research-led program design or advanced AI education.
- Ability to communicate complex systems with academic precision and clarity.
Preferred Profile
- Experience in AI research labs, frontier startups, or advanced enterprise AI teams.
- Active involvement in research, publications, or system-level AI development.
- Prior experience supporting partnerships, collaborations, or institutional growth.
- Academic leadership or program-director experience is a strong advantage.
Engagement & Compensation
- Part-time, senior-level engagement.
- Compensation structured as Revenue Share
- Opportunity to shape a long-term research and education ecosystem, not just a course.
Positioning Statement
