Overview

The Coupa SAP S/4HANA Integration Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting integrations between Coupa Business Spend Management (BSM) platform and SAP S/4HANA ERP. This role ensures smooth data exchange across Procurement, Accounts Payable, Supplier Management, and invoicing, enabling seamless Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Expertise

• Support end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) process integration:
• Supplier onboarding
• Requisition → PO
• Goods receipt / Service entry
• Invoice processing
• Payments and accounting post-processing
• Deep understanding of SAP MM, FI, and Procurement processes in S/4HANA.

Implementation & Support

• Lead integration testing: SIT, UAT, regression testing.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data sync issues, and workflow exceptions.
• Support cutover, go-live, and hyper-care activities.
• Prepare user documentation and provide knowledge transfer.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Coupa functional consultants, SAP MM/FI/Ariba teams, and middleware architects.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, and IT.
• Ensure integration aligns with best practices, security, and compliance standards.

Integration Design & Delivery

• Support the technical consultant team members for the below items
• Design, configure, and implement integrations between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA using:
• Coupa APIs, and other tools
• SAP APIs and other tools
• Middleware using SAP CPI
• Map Coupa data structures to SAP S/4HANA objects (vendors, POs, GRs, invoices, chart of accounts, cost centres, materials, etc.).
• Define integration architecture, error-handling processes, and technical specifications.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in agile/global teams.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-10 years of total experience, with a minimum of 2–3 Coupa projects.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and SAP MM module.
• Coupa Level 1/Level 2 certification (preferred).
• Experience in multi-country rollouts and global procurement processes.
