Job Title: Controls Engineer

About the Role

Join a team that’s shaping the future of advanced manufacturing! As a Controls Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and building cutting-edge automation and robotic systems for a world-class Powertrain facility. This is an opportunity to work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology and efficiency in a high-performance environment.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop automation and robotic equipment for large-scale production.

Specialize in either PLC programming or robotics integration:

PLC Focus: Program using Siemens TIA Portal for seamless system control.

Robotics Focus: Work with FANUC systems, with iRVision experience as a plus.

Showcase a recent project during the interview to demonstrate your expertise.

Integrate multiple tasks into a unified platform for optimized performance.

Work with advanced hardware: sensors, remote I/O, servos, VFDs, machine vision, and barcode readers.

Implement industrial networking protocols like Profinet and Ethernet I/P.

What We’re Looking For

1–2 years of recent hands-on experience in PLC or robotics.

Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal or FANUC robotics.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Skills

iRVision experience.

Familiarity with 6-axis robots.

Knowledge of HMI/SCADA design, drive configuration, and motion control.
