Position Overview :EFAS Technologies is looking for a talented Hydraulics/Fluid Dynamics Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are seeking an individual with a background in data science and Python programming, as well as expertise in hydraulic modeling and fluid dynamics. If you are passionate about using your skills to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities :
● Collaborate with our data science team to develop and implement hydraulic modelsfor water distribution networks.
● Apply fluid dynamics principles to simulate and analyze the behavior of water inpipelines.
● Utilize Python programming for data analysis, modeling, and simulation.
● Work closely with the AI development team to enhance the accuracy of our AI-drivenleak detection system.
● Assist in the design, execution, and interpretation of hydraulic tests.
● Collect, manage, and process data relevant to hydraulic modeling.
● Provide technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.
● Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Qualifications
● A Master’s degree in data science, hydraulics, water resources, or related engineeringfield.
● A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in hydraulic modeling withdemonstrated knowledge of system hydraulics, hydraulic modeling software, flowfactor development and projections, alternative scenario analysis, or relatedexperience.
● Strong data analysis skills
● Strong proficiency in Python/ C++ for data analysis and modeling.
● Experience with software commonly used in hydraulic modeling (AutoCAD, ArcMap,ArcGIS Pro, and Innovyze Modeling Software).
● Solid understanding of fluid dynamics principles and numerical methods.
● Understanding or experience with water distribution systems is a plus
● Ability to travel as required for project/client and business developmentresponsibilities.
● Must have the ability to work both independently, with limited supervision, and as partof a multi-tasking team.
● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
● Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
