Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advanced numerical methods using the finite element method.
• Write and maintain efficient code in Python or C++ for simulation and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver optimized solutions.
• Conduct validation and verification of computational models.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in computational methods and software.
• Document and present research findings and project results to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related fields.
• Proven experience with the finite element method.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ programming languages.
• Strong understanding of numerical methods for solving partial differential equations.
• Knowledge of and commitment to software development best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of parallel programming in MPI for High Performance Computing.
• Experience with immersed methods is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
