Role Description

Your objective: Build an organised, member-driven tech talent community with strong leadership and communication structures that enable member ownership, foster collaboration, and deliver clear value through work opportunities, professional development, and network benefits

This is a newly created, full-time Sydney based role that reflects both the growth of our community and the increasing demand from clients for skilled digital practitioners. You’ll own the health of our community end-to-end: bringing in new members, keeping existing ones engaged and active, and ensuring every person who joins has a great experience and real opportunities for project work. Qualifications

• Strong background in Community Management, Networking, and Relationship Building.
• Experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Recruitment Strategies.
• Strong Communication, Collaboration, and Problem-Solving skills.
• Proficiency in Digital Tools, Project Management Platforms, and Data Analysis.
• Organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Prior experience in a technology or digital-related field is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.

What You’ll Be Working On

There are three principal areas of operation for this role:

1. Member Network Growth
   • Recruiting new members and teams to join the community.
2. Member Onboarding
   • assisting in the vetting and onboarding process for new members to ensure they have the best possible experience and opportunities for project work.
3. Member Nurturing
   • fostering a community spirit, organising events, activating and encouraging guild development, encouraging members to contribute to media activities and meet ups.

Compensation

Salary to be confirmed • Full-time • Flexible working arrangements

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in community management or a related role, ideally in a technology, digital, or professional services context.
• Strong background in talent acquisition or recruitment — you know how to identify, attract, and onboard great people.
• Excellent communicator who can build genuine relationships across a distributed, diverse network.
• Comfortable with digital tools, project management platforms, and data to track community health and engagement.
• Process oriented, self-directed and organised — you’re able to manage competing priorities without losing the personal touch.
• A bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required if you have the experience.
