We are seeking an experienced Hospital/ Commercial Sales Lead to own and grow our key hospital accounts, including private specialist practices operating within hospital settings.
This is a senior, hands-on commercial role focused on strategic account leadership, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships with hospital stakeholders and specialists.
Role Description
Hospital & Specialist Account Leadership
• Lead and manage a portfolio of key private hospitals and their in-house specialist practices
• Act as the primary commercial partner to hospital management, department heads, and key specialists
• Develop deep understanding of hospital workflows, referral patterns, and clinical decision-making
Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
• Drive test adoption, profile optimisation, and service expansion across hospital accounts
• Identify growth opportunities across core pathology, specialised testing, and new diagnostic offerings
• Build and execute account plans with clear revenue, penetration, and growth targets
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
• Engage senior clinicians, specialists, hospital administrators, and procurement teams
• Partner closely with internal medical, operations, and customer service teams to deliver on commitments
• Support tenders, pricing discussions, and contract renewals where applicable
Execution Excellence
• Translate commercial strategy into on-the-ground execution
• Track performance metrics, account KPIs, and growth initiatives
• Ensure service quality, issue resolution, and account satisfaction are consistently maintained
Who We're Looking For
• 10–15+ years of experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or hospital sales
• Proven track record managing hospital accounts and senior clinical stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels
• Comfortable navigating complex hospital environments and multiple decision-makers
• Data-driven, structured, and outcome-oriented
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience in diagnostics or pathology is a strong advantage, but not mandatory
