About Infraware
Infraware is building an AI-native terminal that helps engineering teams operate, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure with speed, context, and guardrails.
This is not a generic AI wrapper.
We are building infrastructure-native intelligence into the command flow itself, enabling teams to move faster while improving reliability, security, and cost control.

The business and product direction are clear.
What we need now is a high-caliber technical co-founder/founding engineer to own major architecture decisions and turn strategy into a production-grade system.
You will partner directly with the founders to shape:
- the terminal experience,
- the backend and agent architecture,
- and the technical foundation for scale.
The Role: Technical Co-Founder / Founding Engineer
This is a hands-on builder role with real ownership.
You will lead core technical build across:
- terminal UX and command workflows,
- backend services (including Rust + Rig-based components),
- integrations with cloud/dev tooling,
- AI/agent behaviour for real operational use.
You are not joining to “support engineering.”
You are joining to co-build the company’s technical foundation.
What You’ll Do
- Build and evolve the AI-native terminal experience and core platform
- Define architecture across terminal UX, backend services, and integrations
- Develop agentic workflows for troubleshooting, automation, and cost optimization
- Ensure strong security, reliability, and scalability from day one
- Make key technical decisions (stack, infra, model/agent design, observability)
- Establish early engineering standards and help shape future hiring
- Represent technical vision with early users, partners, and investors
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure / DevOps / platform engineering
- 0→1 hands-on builder who ships fast without sacrificing quality
- Experience integrating AI into real workflows (bonus: Rig framework familiarity)
- Product-minded; cares deeply about developer experience and usability
- High ownership, high pace, high standards
- Bonus: meaningful open-source contributions
