Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

We are looking for a CMM Programmer/Operator with a strong technical inspection background to join our Prototype Development Team.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup and operate various pieces of inspection equipment including CMM and OMM.
• Proficient with all standard manual measuring tools and procedures (calipers/micrometers/bore gauges/thread gauges/etc)
• Perform detail analysis and draft final inspection reports
• Create inspections programs and processes for production QC
• Work with prototype, first article and production inspection runs
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Perform routine maintenance of all equipment
• Train and assist others as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a related industry
• Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies
• Experience navigating 3D CAD
• Strong knowledge of engineering documents and GD&T
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Safety conscious, dependable, and a positive attitude

The US hourly range for this full-time position is between $35 - $50/hr.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
