What You’ll Do As our Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer, you will be the dedicated personnel responsible for transforming our internal C++/Python codebase into a robust, secure, and user-friendly online deployment for our external partners. This role is critical; you will enable partners to experiment and integrate their AI models onto our platform while establishing the necessary security architecture to protect our proprietary technology.

Required Skills And Experience

• Proven hands-on experience building and managing secure, production-grade cloud infrastructure on a major provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong expertise in containerization (Docker) and experience with container orchestration systems (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Deep understanding of software build systems and experience creating robust CI/CD pipelines (CMake, Makefiles).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash.
• Solid understanding of network security concepts, including VPCs, firewalls, VPNs, and SSH.
• Fluency in the core DevOps toolchain: Git, CD/CI, VM, and WebDev principles.
• Language: English at a proficient level. French is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Prior experience working with machine learning workflows or tooling.
• A diploma or certification in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code : Architect and implement our entire cloud presence from the ground up on AWS/GCP using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure a repeatable, scalable, and version-controlled environment.
• CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Design and maintain a robust automated pipeline (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) to handle the compiling, testing, and packaging of our C++ and Python software into distributable .whl files and Docker images.
• Secure Network Architecture: Design and implement a highly secure networking layer (VPC, subnets, firewalls). Critically, you will architect the secure "jump box" or bastion host system that provides gated access to our internal hardware ("Neo").
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Establish and manage a secure user authentication and authorization system for both internal developers and external partners accessing cloud resources.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement comprehensive visibility using solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack to monitor system health, track resource usage, and ensure rapid incident response.
