Overview of Role
Ergo are seeking an experienced Systems Integration Software Developer to deliver high-quality technical solutions within a complex enterprise environment for our public sector client. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating Azure-based applications and services, working closely with technical leads, vendors, and internal business teams to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
What will you do?
In this role, you will:
- Provide technical input on system enhancements, integration's, and governance to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and best practices.
- Design, implement, and support secure, scalable solutions using Microsoft Azure services and modern development technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party providers to deliver quality software that meets business and technical requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical solutions.
- Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, and "buy versus build" evaluations.
- Ensure systems and interfaces can be hosted, supported, and maintained effectively within a cloud environment.
What do you need?
The ideal candidate will have:
- BSc in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years' experience in software development with 2+ years' hands-on experience using Microsoft Azure Services.
- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Core, and Node.js; experience with React.js advantageous.
- Proficiency with Azure tools and services including App Services, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault, Azure AD, Azure SQL, and Application Insights.
- Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps for source control, build, and release automation.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage technical deliverables across multiple workstreams.
