Company Description

OrthoFAB Design Lab, start-up based of Thrissur and Bangalore (a venture of Leameng Solution Technologies) is developing niche Patient-specific Orthopedic Splints and Braces using Digital Design and Advanced Manufacturing to improve Comfort, Hygiene, and Clinical outcomes. We are a KSUM Innovation Grant 2025/26 recipient and are in the process of incubating at Dr Moopen’s Medical College (iNEST) for clinical trials and regulatory pathway to freeze PoC and MVP.

Role Description

• Collaborate closely with Ortho / PMR doctors at DMWIMC, Wayanad and associated hospitals for splint fitment evaluation and clinical trials.
• Collect structured feedback on patient fitment trials and communicate iterative improvement points to the R&D team until PoC freeze.
• Conduct fitment demonstrations of our splints/braces for clinicians and nursing teams.
• Support liaison with hospital purchase departments for pre-revenue traction.
• Execute groundwork documentation related to CDSCO regulatory pathway and ISO 13485 QMS readiness.

This is not a desk-based regulatory role. It requires strong initiative, comfort in hospital environments, clinical communication skills, documentation discipline, and long-term interest in clinical R&D and medical device commercialisation.

Qualifications

• B.Tech Biomedical / Clinical / Mechanical (Medical Device interest)
• 0–2 years' experience (Hospitals / MedTech startups preferred)
• Internship in the medical device field is a plus
