OrthoFAB Design Labs is a medtech startup developing clinically validated assistive orthotic devices focused on improving patient recovery comfort, safety, and outcomes. Our work sits at the intersection of medical devices, product design, materials engineering, and clinical validation.

This internship is not routine clinical coordination. It offers hands-on exposure to how medical devices move from engineering concept → clinical trials → real-world deployment and this role is ideal for candidates who are interested in medical devices and applied clinical technology , not purely clinical practice.

Role Description

We are looking for a Clinical Partnerships & Outreach Intern to represent our organisation with doctors, hospitals, and rehab centers , support clinical trials/pilots , and assist in converting pilots into early orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clinical validation activities for assistive orthotic devices.
• Work closely with the core team on doctor interactions, clinical workflows, and feedback capture.
• Assist in structuring clinical trial protocols, observation templates, and data documentation.
• Translate clinical inputs into product improvement insights (design, usability, safety).
• Support validation of materials, comfort, fit, and functional performance.
• Contribute to regulatory and translational documentation (concept level).
• Participate in cross-functional discussions with design and engineering teams.

Who Can Apply

• B.Tech / B.E in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering.
• Engineering graduates with strong interest in healthcare technology
• Comfortable with hospital interactions and field visits

Internship Details

• Duration: 3 Months (extendable to permanent role).
• Type: Stipend performance-based.
• Mode: Hybrid / Field-based.
