Company Description

Cobionix is looking for an experienced Echocardiographer/Sonographer to join our team as a paid consultant. We are preparing to launch our robotic ultrasound solution (CODI®) in the market and need a clinical expert to work directly with our engineering team to refine the product’s workflow and "feel." This is a unique non-clinical opportunity to shape the future of autonomous medical imaging. You will test our technology, provide critical feedback on usability, and help us ensure our system meets the rigorous standards of clinical practice.

What You’ll Do:

Hands-on Testing: Operate our robotic ultrasound platform and provide real-time feedback on image acquisition and system responsiveness.
Workflow Optimization: Compare our system’s controls against standard clinical workflows (specifically GE Vivid platforms) to ensure intuitive "knob feel" and usability for sonographers.
Ergonomics & Safety: Advise on ergonomic improvements to help us achieve our goal of reducing Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) in the field.
Collaborate: Work side-by-side with our R&D team to implement rapid improvements before our market launch.

What We’re Looking For:

Certification: Active credential with Sonography Canada (CRGS/CRCS) or ARDMS.
Experience: Strong background in Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE).
Technical Familiarity: Experience with Philips and GE echo systems (specifically, the Philips Lumify) is highly preferred, as our workflow mirrors these standards.
Availability: Ability to come into our Kitchener office for a few hours per week starting immediately (flexible scheduling).
