Description Engineering Manager - Java / Spring Boot / AWS / React | Life Sciences Domain | 10-15 Yrs | Bangalore

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with strong Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and React expertise along with Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare domain experience to lead high-impact engineering teams working on digital, data, and cloud platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for technical leadership, architecture guidance, delivery management, and team leadership for enterprise applications in the Life Sciences domain.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering teams working on Java / Spring Boot / React / AWS based applications
Drive design and development of scalable enterprise solutions
Manage end-to-end delivery of projects in Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare domain
Work closely with Product, Business, and Client stakeholders
Define architecture, coding standards, and best practices
Ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable application development
Lead cloud-based development using AWS services
Manage Agile / Scrum delivery model
Mentor developers and tech leads
Ensure compliance with GxP / FDA / Healthcare regulations (good to have)

Required Skills

10+ years experience in Software Development / Engineering
Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
Experience with React / Angular / Frontend frameworks
Strong hands-on experience with AWS / Cloud platform
Experience leading engineering teams
Experience in Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare domain
Strong understanding of system design & architecture
Experience with Agile / Scrum

Preferred Skills

Experience in Clinical / R&D / Commercial Pharma / Healthcare IT
Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / CI-CD / DevOps
Knowledge of Data / AI / Analytics platforms
Experience with global clients
Knowledge of GxP / HIPAA / FDA compliance

Education

B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Pharmacy / MBA (preferred)
